Trust practices with WIQSThe Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS) is a recognised accreditation from the Law Society, available only to law firms and organisations that are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
To achieve WIQS accreditation, the Senior Responsible Officer or Head of Department must have a minimum of three years’ experience in Will drafting and estate administration. All accredited solicitors and relevant staff must complete mandatory training on the WIQS standard. Compliance is maintained through annual re-accreditation and regular monitoring by the Law Society, ensuring clients receive trusted and consistently high-quality advice. |
