Lucy Cook is a Solicitor in our Private Family Law Team. She began her legal career in 2014 as a Legal Secretary at Alletsons, before going on to study Law at the University of Exeter. During her studies, she returned to the firm during holidays to work as a paralegal.
Lucy graduated with a Law degree in 2018 and completed her master's in law and the Legal Practice Course in 2019. She returned to Alletsons to undertake her Training Contract and qualified as a Solicitor in March 2021. Lucy specialises in a wide range of private family matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cases involving domestic abuse (such as Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders). She also advises on Separation Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements, Pre-Nuptial Agreements, and TOLATA claims. Lucy holds the Law Society's Family Law Accreditation, a recognised mark of expertise and quality in the field, and is also a member of Resolution, promoting a constructive and sensitive approach to family issues. Please note: Lucy is currently on maternity leave and is expected to return in November 2025. |
