Ben Davies

Ben Davies is a Solicitor and Director at Alletsons. He joined the firm in 2002 and qualified in 2004. In addition to his role at Alletsons, Ben also sits part-time as a Judge of the First-Tier Tribunal (Mental Health).

Ben heads our Family Law Department and specialises in all areas of Family Law. He is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, recognising his expertise in representing children and families in complex and sensitive matters.

He regularly appears before all levels of the Family Court and the High Court, handling a wide range of cases from care proceedings and private law disputes to international matters involving removal from the jurisdiction.

Notable Cases

Re L [2006] EWCA Civ 1282 – Represented a party in a significant case before the Court of Appeal and subsequently in the High Court.
Re B [2013] EWHC 4655 (Fam) – Acted for a vulnerable young person in proceedings before the High Court.

Ben also deals with all housing matters within the firm, acting for private paying Landlords and Tenants in any housing disputes and evictions.
